| When is the Sunday School held? |
Our Sunday School is held each Sunday between 9.30 and 10.30am |
| Who can come to Sunday School? |
All children who are of school age |
| What do we do? |
We sing, read the Bible (God's Word), listen to Bible stories, have quizzes, play games and do practical work, all of which the children enjoy. |
| What are our aims? |
We aim to teach children who Jesus is, what he taught, why he taught it and what it means to us in this day and age |
| Why do we still hold Sunday Schools? |
We believe it is vitally important that all children have the opportunity to hear what God has to say about our world, our lives and His plan for each one of us.
It is the general teaching and approach of those in authority over us as a nation that spiritual matters are left to each person to make up their own minds. We would agree to that view in principle but unless they have some teaching about those spiritual matters how can they come to an informed decision? - Any more than they could be expected to make an informed decision on what they study at school without any subjects having been taught!
